Runaway — 1988 Crusader 34 Downeast Flybridge, a proven Bahamas island hopper ready for her next adventure.
This is a legendary Andy Grant-built downeast-style flybridge fishing cruiser with a hull nearly identical to the Duffy 35 lobster boat. She's designed to eat up a sloppy head sea comfortably, and I've taken her on countless trips to the Bahamas. The Caterpillar 3208T inboard diesel runs flawlessly, and with 300 gallons of fuel aboard, Runaway has a theoretical range of well over 600 nautical miles — enough to fish and dive the most remote parts of the Bahamas and Florida Keys without worrying about marinas or refueling stops.
Below, there's a very large V-berth forward and a head aft and starboard of the V-berth, plus a large countertop with storage opposite. Two fully functioning steering stations give you options: the lower helm for shade and protection, the upper flybridge helm for exceptional visibility while navigating.
KEY FEATURES:
- 300-gallon fuel capacity — theoretical range of 600+ NM, making remote Bahamas and Keys runs genuinely practical without range anxiety.
-
