1999 Shamrock 219 Open — First time on the market in almost 20 years, and she's ready to go. I've owned DIJABRINGADRINKALONG since 2006 and she has been an absolute pleasure. Shamrock built this boat as an economical offshore fishing rig, but we've used her as a family cruiser, a watersports platform, and everything in between. The tall gunnels make her super safe for kids, and her 8.5-foot beam makes her feel much bigger than her 22 feet. She's yacht certified, so we've comfortably had 10–11 adults aboard with no problem. KEY FEATURES: - Fresh water cooled inboard engine — I replaced the engine in 2011 with a brand new fresh water cooled 300 hp Mercruiser 5.7 V8, which means salt water never touches the engine block. Fresh water cooling is one of the best things you can do for engine longevity on a coastal boat. - - New seats (2025) — The seats were replaced at the beginning of 2025 with new foam and Sunbrella marine vinyl, so the interior looks and feels fresh. - - Large swim platform — The platform sits about 2 feet aft of the running gear, so there's no chance of hitting the prop when jumping off the back. Inboard power (like a ski boat) puts the prop under the hull for great performance and safety. Pulls tubes, skiers, wakeboarders and wake surfers with ease. Hydraulic Trim tabs keep her running smooth in any seas. Large swim platform sits about 2 feet aft of the running gear so no chance you’ll hit the prop when jumping off the back. Twin 40 gallon gas tanks. Currently has just over 300 hours. Regular maintenance has been handled annually and she has been regularly detailed (most recently in Feb of 2025). The seats were replaced with new foam and Sunbrella marine vinyl at the beginning of 2025. Fresh bottom paint with prop speed on the running gear a year ago and she has only been in the water a few times since then. The engine has been started and run at least monthly.
