The cat hull gives a superior, smooth ride and only drafts 14 inches, making it ideal for shallow Gulf Coast waters. I've kept it stored in a pole barn its entire life — the fiberglass is in excellent shape and waxed annually. In 2014 I repowered with twin Yamaha 150 four-strokes, added a new XL T-top, updated electronics, and installed radar. The engines now have 830 hours and I change the oil and filters every spring without fail. The 200-gallon fuel capacity gives serious range for offshore runs or island hopping.
