Description
2004 Hurricane Sun Deck 237 — priced to move for the right buyer who wants a solid project or a turnkey deal with a little elbow grease. The hull is a 24-foot fiberglass deck boat with open seating in the bow and cockpit, a small head compartment, and plenty of storage. The engine is a 2015 200HP Mercury Verado 4-cylinder outboard — a newer motor on an older hull — with 840 hours and only 25 hours since a full service (plugs, water pump, accessory belt, oil/filter change). New onboard fuel pump installed. It runs great. I'm currently using a remote 10-gallon portable tank because the built-in 59-gallon tank has a water intrusion issue that needs to be addressed. The bimini and seats need replacing, and there are some bumps and bruises in the gelcoat — nothing structural, just cosmetic wear you'd expect on a 20-year-old boat. KEY FEATURES: - 2015 Mercury Verado engine — a 2015 powerplant on a 2004 hull means you're getting a much newer motor than the boat year suggests, recently serviced with only 25 hours since the last full maintenance. - - Galvanized tandem axle trailer — included and in very good condition, though it needs new tires before hitting the road. - - Ski pole and dual ladders — bow and stern ladders plus a ski pole make this ready for watersports once the fuel tank is sorted. - POWER & DRIVE: Engine: 2015 Mercury Verado 200HP 4-cylinder outboard Hours: 840 Digital throttle and shift Two batteries with switch (approximately 1 year old) ELECTRONICS: Mercury Smart Gauge Garmin 5" GPS (4 years old) with NMEA hookup to Smart Gauge Jensen stereo with 4 speakers Bilge pump with float switch Running and interior courtesy lights FUEL & RANGE: Fuel: Gasoline Tank: 59-gallon built-in (needs repair — water intrusion; currently running remote 10-gallon portable) Cruising speed: 25 knots / Max speed: 35 knots LOCATION: Apollo Beach, FL 33572. Galvanized tandem axle trailer included More Details Boat Details Description Great clean boat but needs some TLC - seats, bimini, some bumps and bruises on the gelcoat. Engine runs great but built in fuel tank is getting water from somewhere. Ready to go or spend a bit of time and make it shine!
