2005 Tiara Yachts Sovran — Low-Hours, Northern-Kept Express Cruiser Now in Cape Coral
I bought this boat in the fall of 2020. Before that, it spent its first five years in Minnesota and then moved to the Connecticut and New York area — so it has avoided the constant sun and salt exposure that ages Florida boats quickly. The interior is in like-new condition and the gelcoat reflects that history well.
She sleeps up to six and the cabin space is genuinely larger than you'd expect for the size. The teak and holly sole runs throughout, the forward island berth has a foam mattress, and there are two cedar-lined hanging lockers plus plenty of storage under the berth. Both sides of the salon have settees with a table between them — great for meals or just relaxing at anchor. The head is a full standup shower with a vac-flush head.
KEY FEATURES:
- Near-standup engine room — The floor raises via a lift to give almost full standup access to the twin Crusaders, plus a day hatch for quick daily checks. Tiara's build quality means the engine room is well-organized and genuinely accessible — a real advantage on a 41-foot inboard.
-
- Teak and holly sole throughout — The classic Tiara interior finish is in like-new condition, consistent with the boat's northern history and careful ownership since 2020.
-
- Full enclosure and dual-zone A/C — A full enclosure extends the season in cooler weather, and the cabin has two separate A/C and heat units plus recently added helm air conditioning.
