This boat is upgraded and outfitted for serious long-term cruising and anchoring out, whether your dreams take you through the Bahamas, the Florida Keys, the Great Loop... or wherever the horizon leads. In fact, we just returned from another great season in the Bahamas! Current Yachts performed an analysis of the 2025 Great American Loop completion data - 272 vessels that crossed their wake - and revealed that Cruisers Yachts was number 5 of the top 11 brands of boats to finish!
We spared no expense in preparing this 2008 Cruisers Yacht 455 Express into a true liveaboard dream and you can benefit from that! A spacious aft cabin with ensuite head and jetted tub offers the privacy of a floating owners' suite. A generous forward cabin with its own head, a cozy convertible “cave” with twins that kids love, and a salon with a comfortable sleeper sofa mean up to eight guests can sleep in comfort.
As many already know, engine maintenance is critical. In December 2025, our Volvo D9-500 engines with straight shafts were fully serviced by professionals: after coolers, heat exchangers, turbos, valve clearance, oil change, coolant flush, etc.
While this yacht is capable of reaching speeds up to 23 knots, we’ve mostly operated her like a cruising trawler. At a comfortable 825–850 RPM, she makes about 7 knots while burning only 3 GPH total on both engines, exceptional efficiency for a vessel of this size.
